Create groups
- [Instructor] There may be times where you need to organize students into groups. Let's take a look at how easy it is to create groups on the Moodle platform. Now, in order to get to groups, I'm going to go to the side navigation bar and select participants. This brings me to the page with all of my users. Now, over on the right-hand side I want to click on the gear icon. And from the drop down, select groups. This shows me all the groups that I've created. And in this case, I haven't created any yet. So I'm going to create my first group by scrolling down. And there is a button down here that says create group. If I click on that the first thing I need to do is to name it. I'll give this a generic name of Group 1. We can give a group ID number, as well as a group description if you'd like. Now, if you have turned on enrollment keys for groups, you would be able to enter in here an enrollment key, which is sort of a…
