Creating conditional activities
- If your moodle administrator has enabled conditional access, then you can restrict access to specific activities, until one or more conditions are met. Those conditions include completing another activity or viewing a resource as I showed in the last video, waiting until a specific date, receiving a passing grade on an activity, being a member of a specific group, having specific information in one's profile, or any combination of these. Let's look at how to set up conditional activities. I'll turn editing on using the button in the top right corner. First, let's restrict access based on activity completion. For the introduction quest in my class, I have a learning contract quiz based on the syllabus. To make sure they've seen the syllabus before taking the quiz, I can restrict access to the quiz, until they've at least clicked the link to the syllabus.
