What's new in Moodle 3.10?

- [Instructor] Moodle recently released version 3.10, and although there aren't any major changes, there are a few updates and improvements. Let's take a quick look at some of the new features available in version 3.10. There's now an option to allow learners to download course content so they can access it offline. Here, within the course settings, if I scroll down, you'll see the ability now to Enable download course content. From the student perspective, inside of the course, there will be a Download button, which allows them to then download a zip file with all of the accessible resources for that course. You now have the ability to use activity completion tracking for quizzes on the Moodle platform. This is something you could already do with some other activities, and now you can do it with quizzes as well. Here, I'm creating a quiz. And if I scroll down, you'll see here that we have the Activity completion section within this quiz that we can then customize. Another improvement related to quizzes is the new scrolling timer, which makes it easier for students to see how much time they have remaining in a quiz without having to spend time searching for it. Here, I'm going to preview a quiz. Once I start it, you can see my time remaining right here, 9:55. And when I scroll down, you'll notice that it stays up here at the top, making it much easier to see how much time you have left. To see all of the improvements that come with Moodle 3.10, I recommend checking out the New features page on moodle.org.
