Using blending modes for design

- [Instructor] Let's start to explore blending modes. I'm going to just switch the order of the layers here, putting purple on top, and you'll see we have three different layers. Now, in order for blending modes to work, you'll need to use at least two layers. I'm going to blend the Amber layer with the Blue layer down below. Now, you'll notice, depending upon how your user interface is set up, you might see a Modes column. If you don't, you can click the label at the bottom for Toggle Switches and Modes. If you want to see both Switches and Modes, just right-click on the column here. And you can choose Columns, Modes to leave both visible. This will take up a little bit more of the user interface, but chances are, on a modern system you should be able to fit everything in on the left-hand side. If there is anything you don't want to use, it's easy to click, and choose the Columns, and simply hide an individual column that you don't need at this point. Now, what I want to do is play…
