- [Instructor] Now that we have an understanding of the technical aspects that make up different typefaces, now is when we can actually talk in more general terms about the different styles of fonts and typefaces that are out there. In this project that's currently open, you'll notice I have a couple different groups of layers. And I don't really need the timeline open, so I'm going to go ahead and press F6 to get rid of the timeline. And I'll go ahead and close my library. Let's start by clicking on the bottom group here, which is the sans serif group. And you'll notice with that selected here, you can see my type. Now I'm going to click outside of the text just to de-select. And I want you to note that this typeface is a sans serif typeface, which means there are no serifs and it creates a slightly more clean look which a lot of people interpret as modern.
