Intro to color theory
- Colors are another primary method for communication through visuals. In this video, we're going to take a look at different groupings of colors and how they're created. We'll also discuss common emotional responses to different kinds of colors. So if we look at our project here, we're going to start with the Artist's Primary Colors. I call them this because these are the colors that an artist who paints would start with to create any other colors in the rainbow. So red, yellow and blue. All right, I'm going to press command, option and the right arrow to move to the next marker. Here we have Secondary Colors and the way these were created were by blending together the primary colors. For example, if I blend red and yellow, I get orange, yellow and blue I get green, blue and red I get purple, hence, Secondary Colors.
