Methods of applying colors

- [Instructor] Different kinds of objects in a Motion Project will have different controls for applying colors. Sometimes you just have to click through the different menus, and other times you have to apply a filter to a layer to create more properties, and change or add color that way. If we look at our current project here, you can see everything is in black and white. So we'll start from the bottom and work our way up. If we look in our layers panel over here, you'll notice the bottom group is called, Group for Texture, and I have a cellular generator. If I turn its visibility off and on, you can see I have a purple background color that was imported into this project. So I want to add that purple color into this cellular area. And the first way I'm going to do that is by working with blend modes. So to do that, I'm going to open up the Inspector by clicking the Inspector button here in the upper left part of the…
