Transferring paint layers

- A powerful way to work with texture painting in Mudbox is the ability to transfer the entire paint setup to another object. This is important because, unlike baking textures in other 3D software packages, Mudbox will actually transfer all of the layers, and art history of the texture painting to the other object. So, in this example, we're going to take our horns from our helmet, and we're going to take all of the texture painting and transfer it over to a different version of this model. You'll be able to see in the gremlin master file, in the object list here on the right-hand side, that we have our horns, which are the actual horns model that I've sculpted and painted, but we also have down below this horns auto. And this is a retopology of the horns. And if we just hit the W key, you'll see that its retopologized mesh as compared to the regular mesh. If we hit the W key on that, you'll see it's a very dense mesh at the top level of subdivision there. What I want to do is take…
