Responsive home page, part 1
- Well now that we have all of the navigation breakpoints defined for our master page let's go ahead and create some for each of the individual pages. Let's start to add breakpoints first to the home page. I'm going to begin by double clicking on the home page, and I'll zoom out a bit. As I've mentioned the way breakpoints work with page content is you really want to look at the content, how it responds in a fluid breakpoint, and add breakpoints only when you have to. The reason for this is each page, each time you load a breakpoint the code is going to get a little bit heavier, it's going to load a little bit more slowly. Probably more importantly as a designer every time you add a breakpoint it's an opportunity for every element on the page to resize and pin and be located differently. So you really want to minimize them as much as you possibly can, it'll make your production time much easier and as I proceed through each of these pages I'm going to let you know some of the rules…
