Install the dotPeek utility
- [Male Voiceover] Later in this chapter, I'll show you how XAML determines whether or not direct content is allowed in a XAML element. To do that, I'll need to use a disassembler tool. There are several disassemblers to choose from. You can pick your favorite. For this example, I'll use JetBrains dotPeek. So, go, I went to Google and looked for dotPeek. Found this link, click here, click on this Get dotPeek button. Downloads the executable and you know what to do. Click on this and go through the installation process. It's this top one here, Install Standalone. Click on the Install button and then click on this Install button at the bottom. After a few seconds on my computer, I see this install complete. Then I'll look to see if it's available. There it is and run the application. Close the first two dialogs, accept the licensing terms, and now I'm ready to use dotPeek to disassemble some XAML elements and some XAML classes and see how they use content.
