What you should know

- [Instructor] Welcome to the LINQ for database course. Let's take a minute to talk about what you should know before taking this course. First, an important point. This is not a LINQ fundamentals course. Yes, there are link code examples. They are related to how to work with databases. To get all the details on LINQ, we have several LINQ courses, including my LINQ Essentials Training course. We'll work in Visual Studio and LINQPad. I encourage you to watch the LINQPad essential training course to discover all the editor features for LINQPad. Also, if you're not familiar with Visual Studio, we've got a number of courses on that IDE. The source code for this course is written in C#. So familiarity with C# is valuable. If you have the skills to continue and you are ready to discover LINQ for databases, you're in the right place. Let's get started.
