Boss removal
- [Instructor] So here I have the bodies for my bosses. Now I need to perform a Subtract on the core body. Now, the method that I'm using here is the Core Cavity method. I don't simply want to just trim away the excess material and unite the bosses into the part. What I want to do is, I want to remove these from the actual core body. Remember earlier, I extracted the body and then I offset those faces and did the subtraction? Well, I want to take these away from that body. And what'll happen is, it'll create the void spaces for these bosses, and then when the remove occurs, or the subtraction occurs, of that material for the core, it will leave these bodies, or those voids, and it'll actually create the bosses on the B-side. So there's a couple things that I need to do. The first thing I need to do is, I'm going to go up and if I look at this, Offset Face, there's my Extracted Body, and there's a Subtraction.
