Creating a sketch
- [Instructor] In this chapter I'm gonna go over a quick workflow for you so you understand how basic tools operate with one another. So for this first video I'm gonna talk about making a sketch. So I'm gonna go into Sketch in Task Environment. And I'm gonna place that sketch on my XY plane. I'm gonna specify what I want my horizontal to be. And select OK. As I enter in the sketcher I have a host of tools available to me, draw what I need. In this case I'm just gonna simply put in a rectangle. Now let me move this out of the way. Once I put in my rectangle, two diagonal points I can apply constraints. I can modify existing constraints. And close that out. Modify existing constraints that the system put in for me. Once I'm done I have the shape that I want. I finish out and there's my sketch.
