Mirror geometry
- [Instructor] So here I want to talk about mirroring features and geometry. Again, you can mirror a feature. It's things like holes that are applied. That type of stuff. Something that's been Booleaned out, adding, removing material to a body. The mirror geometry is taking the entire body and mirroring it across. Whether it's a surface or a body, solids, whatever. So in this case, I have a hole and I'm going to go into the More button and you'll see there's my Mirror Feature, Mirror Geometry. I'm gonna start out with Mirror Feature. I want to take that hole, select a plane, cross that plane and select OK. So there's my mirror. Now, if you're not careful, when you do your mirror, especially on a Mirror Feature like this edge blend, if I try to mirror this across the same plane it looks like it's gonna do it. Throws up the signal saying, hey you know, everything's good. But as soon as I hit OK, you get this big scary message that pops up and says, hey I can't do it. The reason why I…
