- [Instructor] Here we are in the AWS management console, and if we scroll down you can see in the IOT section or Internet of Things, we have really a large list of services. The first service that typically you start with is IOT core and that allows you to setup your database and your connection to your external devices and they're called things, so we'll see that referenced in the events section. You can see that we have a number of analytic capabilities including IOT analytics, we have 1-Click, we have Device Defender, Device Management, Greengrass which runs IOT on the device rather than in the cloud, we have SiteWise and Things Graph. We're going to drill into events, because again it represents a layer of abstraction over the underlying noSQL database that I think is interesting for IOT, and 'cause it represents I think where noSQL is going in terms of the value that the cloud vendors are providing.
