What you should know
- To get the most out of this course, you should have a basic knowledge of JavaScript and Node.js. You should know specifically and more importantly how to create a basic application with Express.js what functions are and how callbacks work. If you're new to Express, you might want to take my course, Building a Website with Node.js and Express first. During this course, we will also use the language features that come with recent versions of Node.js. This includes arrow functions, promises, async await, and also things like destructuring assignments. While a deep understanding is not needed to follow along with this course, I recommend you to always look up syntax that does not look familiar to you during this course. Everything else from installing the required software to configuring the sample project will be covered during this course.
