- [Voiceover] Hi, this is Steve Wright, welcoming you to this week's Nuke Nugget: How to View a Wireframe Object Over Its 2D Clip. When you have a wireframe object that's supposed to match a clip, you need a way to see the two together to confirm lineup and tracking. This works for a solved camera with geometry built in the Model Builder node, for example, as well as CG renders. In both cases, you need the 2D clip, the matching geometry, and the 3D camera. The key is there are several steps, and you have to get each step correct, or it won't work. So I've actually printed them up here in this backdrop node, so we can step through them together, and you can always refer back to this. I'm using, as a simple example, a CG-render, which I completely rendered anew, just to make things easy. This is my clip right here. So, the first step is, we have to change to the 3D viewer. So, switch to 3D viewer. Next, we have to load all the 3D objects, our geometry, and our camera. There we are. Step…
