- [Steve Wright] Hi this is Steve Wright welcoming you to this week's Nuke Nugget. Hold out mats can be used with a planar tracker so it'll ignore obstructions. However, the documentation is a bit vague on how to set it up. So we're going to clarify things right here. So here's my task. I have this clip which has this lady walking through it and I want to track on that background. But as you'll see in a minute, she's going to interfere with my tracking plans. So start back over here. And I'm going to fire up hitting tab, a planar tracker. K, here we go. Now let's watch what happens if we try to track this as it is. So I'm going to get a rectangle. Set it right here, capture the whole center of the screen. And let's track it and see what happens. As you might guess, the results are not going to be very satisfying. In fact you can see right away because of the woman's walking that she's distorting and displacing my tracking shape. In fact it's starting to get really weird now. I think…
