Animating shapes

Key frame animation is used to roto a moving object. Not only can you key frame the control points of a shape to follow a changing outline, but you can also add a transform such as rotate or scale to the overall shape animation. These transforms can also be driven by a tracker or a transform node. To see how it works, let's double-click on the roto node to open it up in the property bin. Again, it's all set up to draw, so click and drag, click and drag, click and drag, click and drag. And return to close. By default, key frame animation is on. And we get a key frame mark here on the timeline, to let us know we have a key frame. I'll move the play head out here. I'll select all the control points with a Cmd or Ctrl+A. Just to make a nice quick shape change here, and move the play head to another location. I'll just move this control point here, and jump to the last frame, Cmd+A. There.
