Chromakeyer node: Refining the key
- [Instructor] Now that we have a basic key from the previous video, we can take a look at refining the key by dialing in more of the adjustments and adding masks. We'll open up our ChromaKeyer property panel and start with the screen balance. Now, hooking to the original green screen, the purpose of this is to compensate for green screens that are not terribly well balanced. This one being high in the green and look at my red and blue. So if this were seriously off, this screen balance would help dial in a nicer looking key. Basically, you're just going to scrub this left and right lookin' for nicer edges and a better key. I'll undo that. Next, is the chroma gain. And by the way, all the adjustments up here in this section, have to do with adjusting the algorithm that pulls the key, or the the mat. The adjustments down here are adjusting the mat after it's been pulled. So back to our chroma gain, let's hook the viewer up to the ChromaKey node. Switch to the alpha channel. Now, the…
