How to generate motion vectors

- [Instructor] The VectorGenerator produces both forward and backward vectors that can then be piped to nodes that use vector fields, such as Kronos and Motion Blur, which we'll be looking at shortly. The VectorGenerator supports GPU processing for much faster rendering, but that requires certain NVIDIA GPUs and CUDA drivers. The clip I'm using here is in the tutorial assets. We'll find our VectorGenerator node after we select the read node and go up to the time tab, and it'll be right down here at the bottom. As you soon as you hook it in, it's actually rendered our vector fields. We can see them up here. I'll pop this up, and we actually get three different vector fields. The forward vector field, the UNV data is put in the red, and the green channels. There ya go. Now this is the vector field required to take the next frame and morph it into this frame.
