- [Narrator] Particles can inherit their color from the texture map of the emitter geometry. However, to change the appearance of a particle stream over time, use the particle curve node. To see how its done, we'll need a new script. So, go to file, open, select our project media, Lesson 6 media, Script 5 appearance. Say Open. And, we'll get a little more screen space here. And take a look at, color from the particle curve node. To see the setup, we'll put the cursor in the viewer and type F, zoom out a little bit, and play. So our particle emitter is simply spewing a fountain of individual particles. Okay, so what we'll do is we'll attach to the particle input an image and now, we have a little fuzzy dot. Don't forget, the particles are going to get both their shape, and their color from this image. Okay, we'll pull that back. Next, I have an emitter for you. Hook the emitter input, to this card. This gives us small emitter that points it up into the sky at an angle, that we'll use…
