With a basic key set up we can then use Primatte's fine tuning tools to perfect the details of the key. We'll also see how to use a garbage mat as well as how to color correct the foreground layer after the composite. Here we'll be starting with the key created in the previous video. First of all some Primatte terminology. I'll switch the viewer to the alpha channel, and zoom into the edge of the hair, and let's gain up the alpha here. In Primatte speak, detail is the transition from the backing region into the beginning of something like the hair. So if we wanted the hair detail to be more prominent, we would increase the detail. So, we'll open up our Primatte node, and the operation we want is Restore Detail. Now Restore Detail is a big hammer, so now I can Click+Drag on a hair detail here, and it'll increase the density of the alpha channel just in the area of that hair.
