- [Instructor] The GeoSelect node is designed to work with the new 3D selection tools, which allow you to pick vertices and polygons to align geometry. Its job is to remember your selections so you can restore them at any time. The 3D selection tools live right here. To see how they work, let's add some 3D geometry. So, we'll go to the 3D tab, add an Axis node. Let's switch the viewer to 3D, so we can see what were doing. I want to move the Axis node over here a little bit. So let's add a 3D card. And I'll move that over here. And last, we'll add a 3D sphere, which we'll leave right where it is. I'll rearrange these in the order they appear in the viewer so we can check out the default, which is the node selection. This is the node selection behavior with the 3D viewer that you're already familiar with. So if I select the Axis, the Axis node lights up. If I click on the sphere, and then click on the card, and the Card node lights up. So that's the default node selection mode. Now…
