The SplineWarp node

The SplineWarp node

This flying warp node offers a great deal more control over fine details than the grid warp node. Not only can you work one image to another, but you can also perform an excellent morph. The good news is that the spline drawing and editing controls are virtually identical to the roto node. First up, let's see how to warp an image. We'll add a node by selecting our read node. Again, using the Tab search, and I'll start typing spline warp with s-p-l, there it is. Click on that, and we're hooked in to the A side. Note that the spline warp node has A and B inputs, whereas the grid work node has source and destination. Okay, a quick tour of the interface. Over here on the left side of the viewer, we have all the tools for creating and editing and connecting splines. This top row up here are mostly visibility controls, and here's our auto-key function and over here are more visibility controls for things like control point numbers, the spline and the control point themselves.
