The TransformGeo node

The TransformGeo node

As we've seen, each piece of geometry has its own transformation controls that you can use to transform and animate it. However, if you've grouped several 3D objects with the merge geo node, then you'll need to use the transform geo node to move the new group. If I look at one of the spheres here and scrub through the timeline you can see that it has animation that it gets from its own transform controls right here. In fact all three of the spheres have their own rotating animation so if I look at the merge geo node. And scrub through the timeline, you can see they're all rotating. Again, each one gets it from its own transformation. However, once they've been merged, how do you animate that? Well, that's where the TransformGeo Node comes in.
