Using the viewer

Nukes viewer is incredibly powerful, and obviously an essential tool for your compositing. For this video, there's a Nukes script to load, from the exercise files, chapter two folder, if you want to play along. Just go to the file pop up. Open. Browse to where you keep the exercise files. Go to chapter 2, and open up the 2-2 viewer nuke script. First let's take a look at how to use the all important viewer node. The viewer node will show you the output of whatever node it's connected to, at the moment it's connected to the merge node or the composit is done. But if I pick it up and move it over here, I can see the original jet. Or over there the original background play. Another way to move the input is to select a node and type the number 1. So, I will click here type 1, click here type 1. Now the viewer node has the ability to support up to 10 inputs and the way you plug-in all those inputs is to select the node and type the input number you want. So right now, input one is…
