- [Narrator] Nuke never used to have an audio capability because visual effects shots are normally done without a soundtrack. However, with Nuke now being used in commercials and broadcast television, an audio capability was added. For this, we use the AudioRead node, which can read both WAV and AIFF audio files. To see how it works, let's go get an AudioRead node. Go to the Miscellaneous tab, select AudioRead. In the property panel here, we're going to go browse for our file. So click on the File browser. We'll go to our Project Media, the Lesson 5 Media, and the clickTrack.wav file. Now, stop right here. We have to use FrameCycler in order to play back our audio clip. FrameCycler will not tolerate any spaces in the audio file name or the path name. Nuke doesn't have a problem with it, but FrameCycler will not work. So, it's essential that the path name and the file name have no spaces. So, what I've done is I've copied the clickTrack WAV file to my desktop. So, I'll go there. Home…
