Create a private copy for your eyes only
- [Instructor] When collaborating on a document that's shared with others you may wish to add notes or annotations for your eyes only that won't be affected by others editing the document. Well, in that case, you'll want to create something called a private copy, a new feature here in Word for Office 365. Let's check it out. I'm working on a document that is shared. I can tell, first of all, looking up here next to the Share button, I do see an icon, someone's on page one apparently, Phyllis Lucero. And if I come down here I can see there's a flag showing me exactly where she's working in this document. So if I would like to make annotations to this document, but not effect what she's doing, so that only I can see them, the first step is to go to the View tab here on the ribbon, and then go way off to the right where we'll find Create a Private Copy.
