- You've reached the end of this course. But not the end of what you can do with forms in Microsoft Word, or with other form tools of some other members of the Office Suite. Let me suggest some next steps to you. First, if you've interested at all in Code and XML, I have a couple of resources for you. Remember that the controls in the current versions of Microsoft Word don't allow naviagation from the last control back to the top of the form, like the Legacy controls used to. Contact control navigation is an issue, and one of the people who knows it very well is one of the Word MVPs, Gregory Maxey who has some excellent articles. And with just a little bit of code you can actually control tab order and can make a form tab from the last control back up to the start, particularly as users of older Word forms might expect.
