- [Instructor] Most connectivity issues that you may experience with Outlook are typically caused by outdated software or corrupt email profiles, both of which can be easily resolved. You can fix outdated software by ensuring that Windows and Office are up to date. And we've done that a couple times now within this course. If you're still unable to connect, the next step is to repair the profile. Let's go ahead and do that. We're currently in Outlook, you will select File, and then Account Settings, and Account Settings one more time. Here we have two email addresses, we have Cecilia, which is the account that I'm working with, and another Gmail account. I've selected Cecilia, and I'm unable to repair this profile, and that's because it's all managed through Office 365. But if I select the Gmail account, I then have the option to repair that profile.
