Using tables to layout a form

- Initially, this form is going to do double duty. Sometimes, it will be filled out manually but most of the time it will be filled out electronically. Because it might be filled out manually sometimes, we're going to create a form that has lines that allow our users to type information. Now, I'm sure you've opened a form that has a place to type a last name and that form was created by someone using the underscore character, which means that when you click somewhere and begin to type this is what happens. The line moves over. This is why I use tables, or at least this is one of the reasons why I use tables. Because if I create a table and I indicate that we're going to put a last name here, and I'm simply going to adjust this column width. And then let's turn off most of the borders but turn on the bottom border for this area where someone will type. What I get is a line that doesn't move because it's not a character, it's actually a border of the table. If all of your forms were…
