- To create a different look for your documents, make them more visually interesting, you can add things to the background. Could be color, could be borders, even text or objects that appear in the background called watermarks. That's what we're going to explore in this movie using our Landon Hotel guide document we've been working with in this chapter. We do have headers, footers and sections to keep in mind, and if you need to get caught up, just open up LH_Guide0504 from the Chapter 5 folder of your exercise files. You'll have what I have. We're going to start with page color. So it really doesn't matter where you are in the document, you can click anywhere. When we want to change the page color, we're changing it for the entire document. Let's go up to the Design tab because that is where you're going to find this section on the far right-hand side, Page Background.
