Hardware and software

- [Narrator] As far as software and hardware is concerned on using Onshape, it's pretty straightforward, and I'm gonna direct you over to the Onshape website to kind of give you a background and overview of what the system's like. But basically all you really need is a web browser. You can be working on a PC, you can be working on a Mac, you can be working on an iPhone, iPad, or an Android device. So, you can be working on pretty much any one of those devices. Now, couple things were run, and you can look at some of these videos on their site here to kind of review what is actually happening on Onshape and how it works all in the cloud. Some of the different plans as far as what's involved with the different professional plans or free plans. Definitely take a look at some of the things. It's telling you about Onshape's Studios, assemblies, drawings. To give you a little background, you can work with imported geometry, data management, sharing and collaboration, Onshape updates, and robust modeling, and then at the very bottom here we can work on either direct editing, look at some of their training support, and then Onshape Mobile at the very bottom, which will allow you to, again, not only view models on a device, but you also have full editing capacity on a tablet or a phone, so it's great if you have like a meeting, you can just login, look at a model while you're in one part of the world and the rest of your team is in another. So, it's a very powerful CAD system, and it's all based 100% in the cloud and viewable through a web browser or one of the apps you can download for your device.
