- [Instructor] Customizing Outlook Settings is super important when taking the MOS Exam. You can expect to see several questions related to this topic. Our MOS subject is for this section include: Changing the display of Messages, Calendar items, Contacts, and Tasks. Adding accounts and configuring automatic replies. So I'm currently looking at my Outlook Inbox and I've got the View tab selected. This is the place we want to start. Our first objective is to change the display of Messages, Calendar items, Contacts and Tasks. I encourage you to start by becoming familiar with the View tab for each module. A common task might include turning off the Reading Pane. From the View tab, I'll click the Reading Pane drop-down, and choose Off.
