- [Instructor] An important feature in Outlook is importing and sharing contacts. For the MOS exam you'll want to know how to import contacts from external sources and how to share contacts. Let's start with importing contacts from external sources. A common task might be to import contacts from a CSV file. I'll open Customers.csv from the exercise file to take a look at some sample data. You can see that the CSV file opens in Excel and you can ignore the yellow banner at the top, it's just telling us that CSV files limit the Excel features which we're okay with. Notice here that as I scroll through this list, I've got 101 rows of data. Looking at the column headers across the top, we've got names, email addresses, phone, and address information. These column headings are important because you'll be asked to map these to Outlook fields so that you can decide where this information is brought in into your Outlook contacts.…
