Saving attachments from a message

- Attachments are files that are packaged along with an email. It could be a Word document, or a photo, or a PDF. It's completely separate from the body of text that makes up the content of the mail. Attachments do take up a lot of room in your email. Your company may have established a mail quota, which is a maximum size limit for your email account. If you find yourself hitting that quota a lot, it's time to start removing some of these attachments from Outlook. You can remove the attachment while saving the actual email itself. If an email contains an attachment, you'll know because the paper clip icon will be visible on the right side of the email. There can be more than one attachment in an email. It will be located at the top of the email, above the body text of the email itself, and below the headers, that is, the date and who sent the email. You have a few options for filing the attachment.
