Use @Mentions to get someone's attention

- [Instructor] Outlook comes with something called an @mention. If you want to get somebody's attention in an email message or a calendar invitation, you can type the @ symbol followed by their name. Their name will be highlighted in the message and it will also add them to the To: line of an email. A convenient thing about this is that you don't need to remember their email address. This is what an @mention looks like, let's create one. I'll click New Email and address it as normal. I'll create a subject line. And now I'll start typing the body of my email. To use your @ symbol, put in the @ symbol and now a list of all the people in your contacts will come up. I'm going to include Sharon. Sharon automatically gets added to the To: field. I can also hit the delete key on my keyboard and remove some characters and just leave her first name. Now we can hit the space bar and continue typing the body of the email as normal.
