Joint camera and object

- [Instructor] So we've seen in the previous lesson how we can do a object track with a moving camera by solving the object as a static object with a moving camera and then converting it using the make object. In this lesson, we'll take a look at another approach. So let's go up and let's delete the mega object and let's take the auto track. I'm going to copy that and then paste it. And right underneath the orient camera, let's add this auto track. And we're going to want to rename it. Let's rename it to box. And then let's right-click and under solving, let's add an object solver. Now you can see as soon as I created the object solver, if you look in the perspective view, you can see that our 3D cameras are already been brought through. And so the object solver is going to take our 3D scene from upstream and then solve this object to fit within that scene. So it's very similar to the previous method that we used just a little different approach. So we have all our tracking markers. Let's just come down to the solve object. Let's press play and see what we have. So you can see we have a pretty, it seems like we have a decent track for the object. There might be a few errors but, if we have some errors which I see a few errors, we can come over to the errors tab and hit trim. And let's bring that down. And then we can hit refine object and see how that does. I'm going to turn off the bounding box. Let's go back over to the trackers tab and you can see in the bottom right, we have the same kind of options we have in the make object. So I think the, we can move around the origin. So if you want to you could snap the origin to maybe the front corner and then we can use the distance from camera using the manipulator and move it around so that it looks correct. I'm going to turn off the names and info just so you can see this a little bit better. I can see something right here. I can see a straggler point that is, you can see here that's off. We can come in here and turn that off and then refine the object. There we go and now that's not part of the solve. And press play. That's looking pretty good. So this is another approach we can use to solve objects within a 3D camera in PFTrack.
