- [Instructor] There are many options available for PHP editors. Here we have discussed some of the most popular ones and giving you an idea of the kinds of factors that you may want to consider in making your choice. To help with this, here's a comparison table. Please know that the scores are somewhat subjective. Also know that I've used Notepad++ as being representative of the entire category of advanced text editors. Now, of course, there are differences between the different text editors, but in general, they have similar properties compared to IDEs. As you can see, for many points of comparison, there is not much to choose between the options.
