Skill Level Intermediate
- [Kevin] This course will teach you how to use PHP to work with files and directories. We will read from files, write to files, search through directories, change file permissions, and create forms so that remote users can upload files. These are important skills for any PHP developer to have. We will start with the basics of the file system. We'll walk through demonstrations of the PHP functions together. There'll be code challenges using some fun, practical examples. You can follow right along with me or sit back and watch. Along the way, I'll share my advice on best practices. You will immediately be able to apply your new skills to your own projects. My name is Kevin Skogland. I'm a web developer who has been using PHP for over 20 years. I'm excited to show you how I use it to work with files.
