- [Instructor] The application of pressure in concert with Painter's brushes, is the single most important expressive dimension a user can take advantage of. In the early days of Painter, pressure calibration was universal. One setting covered all brushes. Over the years, Painter has grown to include several media-specific brush engines. This has warranted pressure calibration on a brush by brush basis. In this movie, we'll learn how to maximize individualized pressure calibration to get the maximum expressivity out of each of our brushes. Oh, here we our in Painter and I've got the Brush Calibration panel open, and when you go to Painter initially, you'll find that Brush Calibration is turned off. It's basically using the former universal brush controls that you used to set, and some people can still live by this, but it's really much better now, to adjust, specifically brushes that you use a lot.
