- Your typical new Painter release is primarily known for debuting new brushes with capabilities often not seen before. This release follows a different path. This release has instead, thankfully, focused on user interface and workflow. As a result, the bulk of this edition of Painter Essential Training will focus on a variety of semi-forgotten features that, at their time, were Painter Essentials. They may not be new, but these features remain unique. If you are looking to get up to speed with Painter's latest brushes, you need look no further than the previous two editions of Painter Essential Training, both 2017 and 2018. The 2017 title includes a chapter on Painter 2018's new brushes as well. These Essential Training titles will provide everything you'll want to know. Other than the updated user interface, everything is basically the same in the Painter 2019. So I encourage you to sit back and discover some of Painter's hidden gems. And if you haven't previously viewed the earlier Essential Training titles, take the time to review them for the brushes and features not specifically covered here.
