- We've got our basic text on here now, but I want to do some embellishment to it, and so for the San Francisco and California text, I want to embellish that a bit. And to do that I'm going to convert them to shapes. So let's start with the California. We'll go up to the fly out menu and say convert to shapes. Let's do the same thing for San Francisco. So now we've got a pair of shapes. I'm going to go ahead and I need to select both of these and I'm going to go over and select the shape select tool. And I can go ahead and I'm going to click on San Francisco but this will apply to both of them since they're both selected. Let's move this off to the side. And the first thing I'm going to do is I want to change the color. So I'm going to change this to an orange. And I want to add a stroke now. Let's go ahead and let's turn this up a bit. And one thing I'm seeing here is you might notice all of the sharp edges have been rounded. You just need to turn up the miter limit a bit, there we…
