- [Man] We will now accentuate the depth of the ridges with saturation and lightness adjustments, as well as some dodging and burning to bring out the top ridges of each silhouette. Let's go! Now, one thing I did not say in the last movie, and I hope this didn't throw people off, as I move back through these, I tend to turn the brush size down a little bit. So you can see, compared to up front here, the ones off in the hills are much smaller, and that's one of the little tricks that'll help give you a sense of depth just by the fact that those are getting smaller. If you didn't, it's not a big deal because I'm kind of going for a semi-abstract thing, anyway, but if you want to approximate some of the distance effects of looking back into this set of ridges and hills, reducing the brush size as you go along will make that happen. I've done this both ways. I've tried to start from the beginning and adjust saturation and brightness and work back, but I find it actually works better to go…
