Organizing with layouts
- [Instructor] Painter's Drawers feature provides a Panels and Palettes organizing mechanism that helps reduce interface clutter. However, this alone doesn't create the ultimate interface for all workflows. This is where layouts comes in. Layouts enable the user to create different interface arrangements tuned to a specific workflow. Corel has utilized layouts to conveniently provide several workflow-specific pallette arrangements, and we'll take a look at them right now. So, to get to the Layouts feature, once again we'll go up to Window, and here we go to Layouts. And the first thing I want to do before I switch to any of these is I want to save my layout. Because if I switch to another layout and I haven't saved the layout, I wouldn't be able to get back to it. Although, by reloading the workspace I would, but I'm also going to just go ahead and save it as a second way to get to the way all my pallettes and drawers and everything are arranged.
