A world of options
There are many painting applications available to the digital painter. These applications can range anywhere from one to hundreds of dollars. Your choices will be determined by the hardware on which you'll be running your digital painting app on. Conversely, I know individuals that have purchased a specific hardware platform in order to use the application they find suitable to their needs. In this chapter, we'll demonstrate some of the best painting applications. For me, I use Adobe Photoshop CC 2014, Corel Painter X3, and Savage Interactive's Procreate 2. Now, let's take a look at each of them.
