- There's a few adaptations we're going to need to make to this space in order for it to function as a darkroom. We're blessed that they're fairly minimal. The plumbing is adequate, we've got a nice working sink that we're going to be able to work from. Electrical, we've got an outlet here that we can tap into, and use a three-way adapter. One plug of a duplex Edison down there is already in use for the washing machine, we just need to connect our enlarging timer and our inspection lamp, and they draw such low wattage that we're not worried at all about overloading the amperage on that plug, so this is gonna be a good source for our electrical. We're gonna be able to tie our safelight into the light fixture up above, and to do that we're gonna use a socket-to-Edison adapter. This will just screw into the light socket up above, and we'll be able to plug our safelight into it, and then we'll control the safelight on and off from the wall switch.
