Installing the developing components of the wet work station
- Now, I'd like to share with you how we put together the wet part of the darkroom, or the processing station. First, I want to point out how narrow the gap is between our dry station and the wet station. This is why we took the time and trouble to seal the end of this table we made. It's quite possible that there might be a few drips of the chemistry that spread in that direction. We set up our trays on a shelf unit we bought at, just the local builder's supply. Notice, too, it fits perfectly under here, that's because I only partially assembled it. The legs as they came were about four feet tall, but they were in two sections, so we just didn't bother to screw the other section on. We spaced them properly to give us a little bit of room for agitation in the trays. Then, we set up our chemistry with the developer, stop, fix, and then a water bath, so we go from the top to the bottom, in order.
