Potato chip can trick for macro photography

- Welcome to the Do It Yourself Photographer Series. I'm Joseph Linaschke, your host, and today we're gonna be talking about macro photography. Specifically, slightly lower light macro photography. Let's set up the example here. I've got a lovely flower that I wanna take a picture of. I have a camera here that is very capable of taking macro photos. And I'm gonna go ahead and just get a shot as we have here. Right, let's go ahead and get in nice and close. Get in there and get that picture. And, you know, it's not bad. It's a pretty good photo. The problem is though, that we're in such low light that I'm shooting at about 1/15th of a second, which is really kind of slow to hand hold. So, I wanna add some light to it. Now, this camera has a pop up flash. That's pretty handy. I can turn that on and add some light to my shot, right? So, let's try that out. Let's get in there again. Get up nice and close and, hold on, where's the light? Well, what's happening here, the flower's completely…
